Timmerije quality
Timmerije quality
We guarantee quality for products, organisation and environment. The guidelines set out in ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 14001:2015 support us in this aim. We regularly have the system audited to ensure that we are still working efficiently and effectively. The objective of IATF 16949 is to encourage continual improvement, minimise variation, reduce waste and prevent errors. But as with ISO 9001, the over-arching objective is to introduce process-based thinking to enhance the quality of operations.
Our environmental policy statement
- We ensure compliance with government environmental regulations. To the best of our ability, we actively contribute to local and national government’s environmental objectives.
- We maintain good and open contacts with local and national government and nearby residents.
- In carrying out all our business activities, we will do our utmost to adopt the most technically and economically responsible measures and facilities to minimise adverse effects on the environment.
- The major environmental concerns in our injection moulding operations are noise, energy consumption, waste and water.
- The best possible prevention and control of environmental impacts, with continuous improvement of environmental performance, will be a constant focus of our business operations. All our employees are familiar with our environmental policy and act accordingly.
- The environmental policy is available to third parties and is periodically reviewed to ensure it is appropriate and up to date.
Project-based approach
To make your plastic injection moulded product a success, we maintain a projects organisation. Through this form of collaboration, we are actively involved in exchanging knowledge and giving you advice, with the aim of making your plastic injection-moulded product viable for series production. We set up a project team from different disciplines: product development, mould development, process development and purchasing/sales. In addition to viability, you also have instant figures at hand to inform your investment decisions.
We take a multi-disciplinary approach to avoid late changes as much as possible. This results in the use of the right resources to achieve a high-quality product. For our IATF 16949 customers, we work in accordance with the APQP methodology.
Working with the APQP methodology
APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning or more simply “Project Management”) is a structured method for defining and establishing the necessary steps that must be performed during the development of a product or preparation of a production process. This also applies to your plastic injection moulded product. By working with the APQP methodology, we provide you with a structure for effective communication between all the parties involved. This ensures that all the steps are completed in a timely manner. Before we proceed to series production for your plastic injection-moulded product, the product and the necessary process must be approved. For this the corresponding documentation is delivered following the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) procedure. The PPAP record provides proof that Timmerije understands and meets your customer-specific requirements. This, together with a product sample, will be summarised for you on a Part Submission Warrant form.
